Fall Camping Coordinator

Role Summary

The Fall Camping Coordinator plans Pack 232’s fall camping trip — often a “Fall Back to Scouting” event that doubles as a fun kickoff to the new program year and a recruitment opportunity.

Works with Cubmaster, Grubmaster (Assistant Cubmaster), Member Recruitment Coordinator

Core Responsibilities

  • Select and reserve a campsite or event venue for the fall outing
  • Plan the event program in coordination with the Cubmaster
  • Coordinate food planning with the Grubmaster
  • Ensure at least one BALOO-trained adult is attending (if overnight)
  • Promote the event as a recruitment opportunity — invite prospective families
  • Communicate event details to families: dates, cost, packing list, logistics
  • Collect registration fees (coordinate with Treasurer)
  • Manage headcount and confirm attendance
  • Ensure health forms and consent forms are collected for all participants
