Grants Coordinator

Role Summary

The Grants Coordinator researches and applies for grants to fund pack equipment, activities, and programs. Several companies and organizations offer grants that Cub Scout packs can apply for, including SABIC, Stewarts Shops, Bass Pro Shops, and others.

Core Responsibilities

  • Research available grants from corporations, foundations, and community organizations
  • Prepare and submit grant applications on behalf of Pack 232
  • Track application deadlines, submission status, and award notifications
  • Coordinate with the Treasurer on how grant funds are received and allocated
  • Maintain a calendar of recurring grant opportunities
  • Report grant outcomes to the Committee Chair and pack committee
