Pack Meeting Snackmaster

Role Summary

The Pack Meeting Snackmaster coordinates snacks and refreshments at pack meetings, ensuring Scouts and families have something to eat and drink during or after the meeting. A simple but important role that makes pack meetings more welcoming.

Core Responsibilities

  • Plan and provide snacks/refreshments for each monthly pack meeting
  • Coordinate a snack sign-up rotation among pack families (if using a shared model)
  • Consider dietary restrictions and allergies — check with families at the start of the year
  • Purchase or coordinate donations of snacks, drinks, plates, napkins, cups
  • Set up the snack area before the meeting and clean up afterward
  • Coordinate with the Treasurer on snack budget (or manage as a volunteer-donated item)
  • For special events (Blue & Gold, Pinewood Derby), coordinate with the event coordinator on food
