Folks,
Each year Twin Rivers Council organizes University of Scouting (UoS). UoS is a full day training for scouters which offers attendees a wide variety of courses and topics to choose from. This year Twin Rivers Council will be offering a Cub Scout Adventure Academy which will run concurrently with UoS. The Adventure Academy will be open for Wolf, Bear, Webelos & AOL scouts. Cubs will be able to earn up to 2 adventures. As Adventure Academy will run concurrently with UoS you can learn while your Scout earns up to 2 Adventures!
UoS and Cub Scout Adventure Academy will be held on 3/21/26.
Twin Rivers Council is looking for leaders to volunteer to run Cub Adventures. Please take a look at the selected Adventures and see if you might want to volunteer to run one of the sessions!

The Twin Rivers Council will be hosting its Cub Scout Adventure Academy for Cub Scouts who are Wolf (2nd Grade), Bear (3rd Grade), Webelos (4th Grade) and Arrow of Light (5th Grade) on Saturday, March 21, 2026, at Shaker High School in Latham (i.e. the same day and location as the University of Scouting). Please note that not only can you teach a Cub Scout Adventure Academy class, but also a merit badge class at the Merit Badge College, AS WELL AS teach a class and/or take a class at University of Scouting!
We have identified select adventures to be offered at the Council’s Cub Scout Adventure Academy. On behalf of the Twin Rivers Council, I am asking for your support in teaching one or more classes to our Cub Scouts and, more importantly, in imparting your knowledge, hobby, career, and experience to them. Please note that I will also be personally supporting the Academy by teaching at least one class.
If you are willing to teach a class at the Cub Scout Adventure Academy, please complete the accompanying short Google form. I have also provided a draft syllabus for the Cub Scout Adventure Academy to provide you with additional details.
