Dear Twin Rivers Council Key 3 Leaders,

I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving weekend, and is keeping safe today with the snow.

So far, we have 10 units that have fully rechartered for 2026, with Yankee Doodle having a commanding lead with 5 units fully rechartered.

Due to the lack of interest, I canceled the December 5th recharter session at the Saratoga Public Library. I did add an additional rechartering session in its place for Sunday, December 28th at the TRC Offices from 10-2.

Currently, I have 2 signups that are Turning Point/Mohawk centric and 1 that is Adirondack centric. I just added a renewal for December 27th at Clifton Park Library. If there are any other requests for me to go out to other communities, please reach out to me and I will add you to my list. The goal is to have all units due to recharter to be rechartered by December 30th.

A few friendly reminders:

  1. Please communicate with your Scouters and Parents early and often regarding the unit’s membership renewal plan, whether they are expected to renew on their own or if the unit will be renewing memberships along with the unit recharter.

  2. Only Key 3 leaders are eligible to renew the unit membership.

  3. For Fridays, I will either be out of the office doing recharters out in the community or will be hosting in-person recharter appointments in office. Those appointments will be from 9a-1p.

  4. For those who wait until the last minute, the TRC offices will be closed to the public from Christmas Eve to January 2nd. We will be reopened to the public on January 5th. During this time, any in-person rechartering will require an appointment.

  5. If you have any leaders due to renew their Safeguarding Youth Training before the end of the year, please have them complete the training promptly.
