Thanks Bob,

It generally looks right to me with the following comments:

  • Ed Ward used to be our guy at the Selkirk Fire Department a long time ago (before me). He has remained listed as the Executive Officer as long as I have been here, even though that probably isn’t right. Either way I see no need to rock the boat on that prior to rechartering this year but may be something to look at in the future.

  • Robert Eden and James Cascione are to be phased out. I see that they are listed as “Unit College Scouter Reserve”, which I think is something different than “Unit Scouter Reserve”. I’m a little surprised that Unit Scouter Reserve is the thing that will remove them as that is a legit position as far as I know, but I defer to you as I haven’t taken the latest training. As long as whatever we do removes them from the roster I’m good.

  • With that said, Mike mentioned to me that Rhonda may be on her way back to Pack 232. I will reach out to her and include you to force a decision there. If we don’t get an answer on that in a timely fashion then just remove her and she will have to rejoin.

Thanks, Josh

Bob (Treasurer), December 7, 2024:

I am in the process of Rechartering the Unit. All adult leaders are YPT trained through at least 01/01/25 (essentially a requirement for rechartering).

I moved Rhonda Baker and David Flores from their previous positions within the unit to Unit Scouter Reserves, which from what I have read, will move them out of the Unit Leadership for rechartering purposes. Three adults are not shown as being position-trained. One is David Flores, so that should clear itself on 01/01/25. The other two are Ben Friedman (needs C42) and Pat Slade; however, I cannot see what Pat is actually missing and he appears to have all necessary training already completed.

Lastly, does the Organization Chart look accurate to you all?
