Pack 232 Parents,
Welcome to March! This year has flown by. As always there is a lot of information here.
Please note that we will not be having a March Pack meeting at Glenmont Elementary School. Awards will be distributed at the Pine Wood Derby on 3/23.
We have a variety of upcoming events that require an RSVP. If you are planning to attend any of the following activities please RSVP on Scoutbook!

Please note that dates for summer camp are available. Twin Rivers Council organizes two summer camps; resident (overnight) camp, and day camp. Please consider scout camp. Please contact me with any questions.
Twin Rivers Council offers a campership program for those families that might need a little help with the registration fee. The application can be accessed on the Rotary Scout Reservation homepage.

University of Scouting’s Cub Scout Adventure Day (Class A Uniform)

Webelos & AOL Scouts (4th & 5th Grade) can participate in the Cub Adventure Day held in conjunction with the University of Scouting. Scouts will participate in one of two elective adventures: Webelos - Modular Design, AOLs - Engineer. Registration is $15 and includes the adventure pin and an event patch.

Pinewood Derby (Class A Uniform)

Join Pack 232 for one of the BEST events in Cub Scouting. Get ready for an exciting day of racing and fun. There are light refreshments and pizza for sale throughout the event (and coffee). Feel free to invite family members.

USS Slater Overnight (Class A Uniform)
Friday April 4 - Saturday April 5, 2025 141 Broadway, Albany, NY 12202
Join Pack 232 and spend the night on the USS Slater! The Pack will be sleeping over on the USS Slater 4/4/25 - 4/5/25. The cost is $50 per attendee, meals are included. The Pack will arrive at 5pm on 4/4 and depart by 9am on 4/5.
Registration closes on 3/12/2025. We cannot add participants after this date. Sign up today. All youth participants must have a completed Authorization Form submitted to the Pack by 3/12/2025. Please email the completed Authorization Forms to cubmaster@pack232.com.
Please bring your registration payment to the Pinewood Derby on 3/23/25. Payment can be made in cash or check payable to Pack 232. As we are pre-paying for this event, if you have registered you must pay.
Optional patches and dog tags are available for purchase. Patches are $3 and dog tags $5. Orders and payment for these optional items will be taken at the Pinewood Derby on 3/23/2025.
April Pack Meeting (Class A Uniform)
Thursday April 10, 2025 6:30pm-7:30pm Lawson Lake County Park 293 Lawson Lake Rd, Feura Bush, NY 12067 Flag Ceremony - AOLs
Join Pack 232 at our April Pack meeting! We will be heading to Lawson Lake to celebrate our AOL scouts. The AOLs will be crossing over to Scouting America and Troop 75. Please come and join in on the celebration.
Trash the Trash Day - Trash Cleanup (Class B Uniform)
Saturday May 3, 2025 10:00am-11:30am Henry Hudson Park Barent Winnie Rd, Selkirk NY 12158
Join the whole Pack for Trash the Trash Day. Trash the Trash Day is an international scouting event where each scout is challenged to pick up 2 pounds of trash. The pack will be meeting at Henry Hudson Park to collect trash. The pack will provide gloves, trash bags, and hand sanitizer.

Pack 232 Spring Campout (Class B Uniform)
Friday May 16-18, 2025 Thompson’s Lake Campground 68 Thompsons Lake Rd, East Berne, NY 12059
Please join Pack 232 at our Spring Campout! We will be camping at Thompson’s Lake Campground. The whole Pack is invited to attend this campout. Join us for camping, Scout craft & skills, cooking, games, and a campfire program.
Our goal is to provide the Scouts and their families with an easy camping experience. This event is the perfect opportunity for any non-campers. While we encourage everyone to spend one or two nights, if you are not a camper please consider coming up for the day on Saturday to join in on the fun.
Memorial Day Parade (Class A Uniform)

Blue and Gold Picnic (Class B Uniform)

Cub Scout Summer Resident Camp (Optional)
Session 1 - Sunday July 27, 2025 - Wednesday July 30, 2025 Rotary Scout Reservation 279 Davitt Lake Rd, Averill Park, NY 12018
Pack 232 will be attending summer resident (sleepover) camp at Rotary Scout Reservation. The Pack will be camping during Session 1 - July 27-30, 2025. Summer camp is an exciting and exhausting four days and three nights. Scouts get to participate in a lot of awesome activities.

Camp is co-ed and all Scouts entering ranks Tiger-AOL in September 2025 are able to attend camp. All scouts must attend with their parent/guardian. Only one parent is required for those families with multiple scouts.
Scouts must be registered as part of our Pack. If you want to attend summer camp please email me with your name and your scout’s name. Please let me know by 5/15 to take advantage of the discounted registration fee.
2025 Resident Camp Fees:
- Cub Scout Regular Fee - $275 (Paid by June 1st)
- Cub Scout Late Fee - $325 (Paid after June 1st)
- Adult Participant Fee - $100
- Den Chief Fee - $100
Payment does not need to be made at registration.
Cub Scout Summer Day Camp (Optional)
