Cub Scout Pack 232 10) Pinewood Derby 2019 (Jeff Middendorf, Dave Coup, Jeff Dievendorf, Charles Giglia, Chris Orth, & Gary Robbins) a) Written rules for selection of future Fort Orange District Derby participants b) Block off front rows of seats for dens / have signs for each den c) Donation/Disposal of current track (to Christine Zemsky?) d) Need volunteer to host/takeover Pit Night – will Lowe’s host something? e) Trophies are on order, at this point awaiting confirmation from Vendor. f) Track Set-up - We will not be able to do set up Friday night, so looking for volunteers to help at 7:30 am on Saturday. On Friday night, we can get the trailer from Troop 75 on Friday, get 4-5 people to get track out of Gary’s basement (will take ~15 minutes) and Jeff M. will park the trailer at his house Friday night. g) Snack Stand – Teresa D. to take the lead for the snack stand? Biggest responsibility is ordering pizza to have ready at 11:30am and getting some folks to work in shifts to run the stand. h) Timeline - 0730 set up town hall. 0900 open registration. 1000 driver intro. 1020 racing starts. i) Pinewood Derby google account – Jeff M. will be uploading all the files he has accumulated over the years to a google drive that is affiliated with the google account that he set up for the pinewood derby. Account name and password are on the derby computer. j) Volunteers – Jeff M. will do an email to Pack soliciting volunteers. Most likely going to send it out 1/11-1/12 weekend. k) Judges?
