Hello!
Summer camp is one of the defining times in most scouts’ time in scouting. But there are times when the cost of summer camp may make it difficult for some scouts to attend. With this in mind, the council has set aside limited funds for camperships for Scouts who could not otherwise afford to attend a Twin Rivers Council summer camp.

Campership conditions:
- The Scout’s family should pay as much as possible.
- The unit or chartered organization should pay as much as possible.
- The unit should provide money-earning fundraising opportunities for Scouts.
- Applications should be submitted only for the balance needed after the above sources are exhausted.
Maximum campership amounts:
- Scouts BSA Resident Camp - $185.00
- Cub Scout Resident Camp - $80.00
- Cub Scout Day Camp (5 day) - $60.00
The unit’s camp contact person will be notified if a campership has been approved and if so, the amount. Each campership will be applied to the Scout’s camp account. Camperships cannot be applied until the unit and the individual Scout are registered for camp.
Please note – even though the original deadline to apply was April 1st, applications are still being processed and accepted for the time being. If you are interested in applying, please do so ASAP.
