Scouts ages 4-12 and their families are invited to join us on Wednesday, April 3 for Mini Zip Lines! In this collaborative, drop-in family workshop, our space will be transformed into a mini zip line course; participants will be challenged to create designs that get your miniature dinosaur toys across the zip lines safely. Experiment with different designs, and see how you can make your zip line cart move even faster! Will your family have the winning design? About the space: The THINQubator at Tech Valley Center of Gravity is a children’s dedicated Makerspace, located within the Capital Region’s premiere makerspace for adults. Our mission is to provide free and low- cost programming that helps children discover science, technology, engineering, the arts and mathematics through hands-on creative play. More details: This is a drop-in workshop; families may stay for the whole time period, or pop in anytime during your two-hour activity block. We recommend allocating a minimum of 30 minutes for the activity itself. Parents are required to stay in the building for the activity. Siblings of all ages are welcome. Location and Parking: We are located in Tech Valley Center of Gravity at 30 3rd St, in Troy NY. This is a private, locked facility: ring the doorbell for entry.
