Tom Mocerine and Dave Cooper have planned an fun day for the Pack at Liberty Ridge Farm on October 21. If you have never been to Liberty Ridge, it is in Schaghticoke, and it has a Corn Maize and a number of other really fun stations and activities. Tom has set up our Pack a “Campsite” at the Farm in which the Farm provides picnic tables, roasting sticks, wood, and benches. They are reserved in 4 hour increments, and Tom has reserved a campsite for us between 12- 4pm that day. The campsite serves as a good central meeting place and from there the kids can run all over the farm enjoying all the activities. We will probably also have a camp fire there and possibly S’mores. There is a sign up on the website. Please sign up to state if you and your scout will be attending. Siblings are certainly welcome. Since there is an admission charge at the Farm, you should purchase your tickets directly. However, we strongly encourage you to purchase your tickets online, since there is a special price for Scouts and families and a special Scout patch available with the admission price online. You can purchase tickets on-site at the farm, but, again, if you register for tickets online then scouts will receive the “2012 Liberty Ridge Farm Maize Patch”. On the Liberty Ridge website, look on the left for Clubs and Organizations, then click Scout Adventure, order tickets.
