Good morning.
Please note that our October Pack meeting has been moved to Monday October 6th.
There are a couple upcoming camping opportunities that I wanted to bring to your attention.
2nd Annual Cub Scout Harvest Festival
September 27-28, 2025 Camp Wakpominee, Fort Ann
This event is organized by Twin Rivers Council and will be held 9/27-9/28 at Camp Wakpominee in Fort Ann. The Pack will not be sending an organized cohort but individual scouts and their parents are encouraged to attend if their schedule allows. The overnight is $50 per person while day participation is $15. This fee includes meals, activities, and accommodations. This looks like a lot of fun!

Monster Mashoree
October 10-12, 2025 Schaghticoke Fairgrounds 69 Stillwater Bridge Rd, Schaghticoke, NY 12154
Once every 2 years the Twin Rivers Council organizes a council camporee. This year’s theme is the Monster Mash - hence Monster Mashoree. This event will pull in scouts from across the region and is a massive event that you don’t want to miss. Activities will include: Drone Show, Archery, BB gun shooting, Slingshots, Trade-O-Ree (think scout store but way bigger), Costume Contest, Face Painting, Magic the Gathering Tournament (for the Cubs too), RC Race Cars, Lego Pinewood Derby, Reptile Show, Planetarium, Video Game Trailer, Bounce Houses, Climbing Wall, NOVA Award Activities, Live Band, Movie, and more. There will not be enough time to experience it all!
The Pack will be organizing a cohort to attend this event. We will be camping Friday & Saturday night.
Pricing
- Event registration: $60 per youth, $50 per adult
- Registration includes: admission, event patch, deck of Monster Mashoree Playing Cards, all meals & coffee (Saturday night dinner is Chicken BBQ)
- Saturday only day option: $50 per youth, $40 per adult
- This registration price includes the event registration and additional food provided by the Pack.
Scouts will need a parent/guardian to attend with them. Limited camping supplies are available to borrow - let me know if you need something.
We will be registering for this event as a Pack. The regular price registration closes on 9/30. Please RSVP on Scoutbook no later than 9/29. Payment will be due at the 10/6 Pack meeting. Registration after 9/30 is possible but the price increases to $82 per youth & $67 per adult. PLEASE RSVP NOW SO WE CAN GET AN ACCURATE COUNT!
