Parents,
Attached is a guide for camping this weekend. Please review and let me know if you have any questions. Please take a look at the weather and plan accordingly!
Troop 75 will be camping next to us. This will be a great opportunity for our kids to see what Scouting America camping is like and to interact with the scouts in the troop. We intentionally did not plan too much programming for this event. The goal here is to have the scouts interact with Troop 75.
We will be roasting a whole pig for dinner on Saturday! I hope you are hungry.
Please pack any sports equipment and/or outdoor games and activities. There is plenty of open space around the campsites.
There will be plenty of time for fishing and canoeing. Make sure that you follow NYS laws as they relate to fishing licenses. We must follow Scouting America guidelines for canoeing. Please see my previous email for details about the canoeing.
Lastly if you have any firewood at home please bring some to Thompsons Lake!
