Blue & Gold Banquet

The pack’s largest annual celebration, held in February to mark the anniversary of Cub Scouting’s founding (February 8, 1910). The banquet recognizes Scout accomplishments, honors leaders, and includes advancement ceremonies and entertainment. It’s an opportunity to showcase the program and celebrate the year together as one pack family.

A festive, full-pack celebration featuring food, themed activities, and recognition of Scout achievements. Each year offers a unique theme to inspire Scouts and delight families.

Recent Themes

2025 STEM Blue & Gold (June 8, 2025 at Lawson Lake County Park)

  • Theme: STEM activities and Nova Award focus
  • Activities: SUNY Albany robotics demo, Pipette Rockets, Paper Airplane Design, Paper Lanterns
  • Format: Class B uniform, 1:00–4:00pm at scenic outdoor venue
  • Opening: Flag ceremony and rank award presentations

Coordinators

  • Blue & Gold Coordinator – overall event lead and theme direction
  • Committee Chair – venue logistics, budget approval, and pack communication
  • Program Chair – coordinates with pack calendar and activity planning
  • Advancement Chair – prepares advancement awards and rank badges for presentation
  • Cubmaster – emcees ceremony, leads opening/closing, recognizes leaders and Scouts
